I started researching the Barter/Hathorne side of my ancestry to present as a gift to  my Mom shortly after the death of her mother. My mom loved her mother and grandmother  and would like to know all there is to know about their history. Unfortunately, most  of the photos, personal items, stories, etc, of her ancestors are spread far and wide and she  has not been able to obtain copies of anything. I would be thrilled to be in contact  with any member of our extended family and would love to be able to obtain  photocopies of any pertinent photos, records, etc. If you have any information or  objects to share on either side of my family tree, please contact me. That being said, I have found so many ancestors that I have become a tad obsessed. I now need to  travel to Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland, & France to confirm a lot of this information.

After harassing my former spouse to contact his family for information, I have been able to  add them as well (Hi Colin!) and hope to someday attend a Bromley family reunion in Lancashire,  England!

Some day I hope my sons will see the value in having all these family connections.
